About me

Hello all! Welcome to my new website! My name is Becca and I am the owner/ founder of Yarn and Dye Creations! I am from Ohio and live with my almost 3 year old kitten, Nala. I am currently a full-time lifeguard but in my spare time I love to learn new crochet, knit and tie dye patterns. 

I learned how to crochet from my grandma when I was about 10, tie dye from girl scouts and working at summer camp and a friend taught me how to knit while we were in undergrad. Nature and respecting it to the best of my ability has been another passion of mine. With this new adventure, I am striving to be as sustainable as possible. 

Any items I dye or turn into DIY packages come from thrift stores (always washed in an eco friendly laundry detergent before and after). The yarn comes from my own stash that I've had for years as well as thrift stores (many are brand new skeins), handed down from friends or family, or at a minimum, bought when they are on sale. I also send out packages in mailers made from recycled materials that are able to be recycled again.
